The LRHSD schools began fiercely united as Team 1647, the Iron Devils. Then in 2009, a Storm was stirred and a Lenape/Cherokee coalition began, accommodating even more in-district students passionate about robotics. In 2022, a Storm swelled again and two new teams emerged: Cherokee Charge 2722 and Lenape Red Watch 2720.

CHARGE ROBOTICS
In 2022, FRC Team 2722, Charge Robotics was founded with students from Cherokee High School. Creating a robotics team at our school allowed more Cherokee students to pursue their passions in STEM. As of 2024, our team has over 40 members, 3 teacher mentors, and 4 industry mentors. Since its inauguration, our team has been very successful, qualifying for district championships two years in a row, winning team spirit, quality, and excellence in engineering awards, and being district event finalists with our 2024 robot Octave.
