ALL YOU CAN BRICK

Continuing our team's mission to empower innovation and community through robotics, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and a passion for STEM, we began hosting a community brick build challenge in January 2023.  We had an enthusiastic nine students at our inaugural event, which included a brick build challenge, a tour of our robotics facilities, a robot demonstration where students could drive and operate the robot, and participants competed for awards in most creative, judges' pick, and honorable mention, and received a STEM-themed activity packet and a t-shirt.  In November 2023, our team began hosting the All You Can Brick event, which expanded the community brick build to include a FIRST LEGO League scrimmage.  Our scrimmage hosts 18 FLL teams, and our brick build has grown to over 40 participants.  This event allows existing FLL teams to gain competition experience and networking opportunities in the FIRST community.  It has also provided the brick build participants to learn and experience more FIRST programs.  Our team has improved the brick build event to include awards for Most Creative, Most Realistic, Helping Hands, and Judge's Pick, and each participant receives a certificate and an event swag bag containing a STEM-themed activity packet, a t-shirt, and brain teaser puzzles.

AMPED FOR AID

GIVING DEVASTATED COMMUNITIES A POSITIVE CHARGE

The Charge Robotics team has continued with the initiative previously known as Storm for Storm Relief.  Helping others is a mission we are proud of here at Charge. We raise funds to donate to disaster relief organizations such as the American Red Cross and Reach Out Worldwide that aid communities impacted by natural disasters.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We collaborate with our sister team, Red Watch Robotics, to clean up the local community of Evesham Township multiple times a year, collecting trash along the road.  We also work together to give free car washes to members of our community.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE

With the success of our All You Can Brick event, our team began hosting a FIRST LEGO League Challenge Qualifier and Explore Festival in 2025.  Helping to spread the mission of FIRST, we invite local FTC teams to demonstrate their robots alongside our team's robot demonstration, allowing participants to learn more about the programs available to them as they continue their love and passion for robotics.

FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION KICKOFF

FRC 2722 has been a proud FRC Kickoff host since 2022.  Teams from the area are welcome to join us annually for the live broadcast and receive the kit of parts before heading back to their work locations to start their season.  Teams are welcome to join us with our sister team, Red Watch Robotics, following the broadcast for lunch and a strategy meeting where we break down the game rules.

GO BABY GO

Our robotics team collaborated with the Kingsway Learning Center in Voorhees as they began implementing the Go Baby Go program, introducing children with disabilities to mobility devices. We modified four ride-on toy vehicles by integrating a large push button for motor control, allowing children to use their hands to move the vehicle instead of using a foot pedal. Additionally, we installed an emergency stop switch on the vehicle, allowing parents to deactivate it when needed. Our team will attend the Derby Day to help make safety modifications customized for each child receiving a vehicle.

LITTLE CHIEFS' SAFE TRUNK OR TREAT

Our team participates in our school's annual Little Chief's Safe Trunk or Treat. Team members pick a theme each year, dress up, and hand out candy to young local students. Students have a chance to see our demo bot as well.

ROBOT DEMONSTRATIONS

Our team does robot demonstrations at various events, sharing our passion for STEM and robotics and spreading the message of FIRST within our community.  We hold annual robot demonstrations at Lockheed Martin's E-Week, Cherokee's Freshman and New Student Orientation, Little Chiefs' Safe Trunk or Treat, Cherokee's Open House, All You Can Brick, FLL Explore Festival, FLL Challenge Qualifier, Robot Reveal, and Marlton Elementary School's STEM Night.

ROBOT REVEAL

Charge hosts an annual Robot Reveal with our sister team, Red Watch Robotics, where families, sponsors, and community members are invited to see the teams' progress at the end of the build season.

UNIFIED ROBOTICS

Charge Robotics is proud to bring Unified Robotics to our region, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where students of all abilities can experience the excitement of robotics together! Unified Robotics is a STEM program that pairs students with and without intellectual disabilities to design, build, and program robots in a fun, collaborative setting.
